INTRODUCTION TO THEATRICAL DESIGN Grades: 11, 12
Prerequisite: Beginning Stagecraft or Beginning stage Makeup and Costuming and Accepted Application (Ms. Williams/Ms. Hardy - PAC) A basic introduction to the problems and principles of scene, light, sound, makeup and costume design. The intent of the course is to give the student a first-hand view of how the design process takes place from early conception to final drawings. Students will also learn design theories that are unique to each principle or area of theatre production. Each student will produce personal design projects specific to their area of theatre production.
STAGE DESIGN RENDERING/MODELING TECHNIQUES Grades: 11, 12
Prerequisite: Accepted Application (Ms. Williams - PAC) The intent of this class is to develop within the student the ability to analyze and use various mediums in rendering and modeling designs for the stage.
